For one of our clients, we are looking for a Sales Employee.

The Sales Employee is responsible for assisting with product selection, handling sales transactions, preparing and maintaining the shop environment, and supporting additional production tasks as needed.

Main duties & Responsablities:

• Assisting customers with product selection and sharing the story sculptures and artists.
• Handle custom-made orders, completing forms with detailed specifications and obtaining customer signatures.
• Operate the POS system (such as Odoo), handling cash, card, and gift card payments accurately.
• Follow store opening and closing procedures, including displays, stock checks, equipment setup, and securing the premises.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-organized shop, ensuring products are properly labeled and restocked.
• Pack sculptures safely and beautifully for customers, ensuring eco-friendly wrapping and a positive experience.

 
Requierments:

• Strong communication skills; Fluent in Dutch and English; Papiamentu and Spanish are strong assets.
• Sales experience; Prior experience with POS systems and in a retail, tourism, or hospitality environment.
• Ability to handle cash and card transactions with accuracy and independence.
• Proficiency in POS systems (Odoo is an asset).
• Basic craft skills for minor sculpture touch-ups, labeling, or workshop preparation.
• Education: Minimum VSBO
