For one of our clients, we are looking for a Mechanic.

The Mechanic is responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing ground support equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. 

Job Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair vehicles, forklifts, golf carts, and other GSE.
• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and brake systems.
• Repair or replace defective parts and ensure equipment is safe and operational.
• Complete work orders, inspection forms, maintenance reports, and inventory records.
• Prepare equipment for airport and airside inspections.
• Operate various motorized and non-motorized ground support equipment.
• Respond to emergency and after-hours maintenance requests when required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and the workshop in a clean, safe, and organized condition.

Job Description

• Liaise professionally with Ramp Management, customers, and staff when required.
• Service, diagnose, repair, and overhaul gas and diesel engines and vehicle systems.
• Repair and replace components in brake, cooling, drivetrain, electrical, exhaust, HVAC, hydraulic, steering, and suspension systems.
• Perform engine tune-ups and replace defective parts and components.
• Conduct engine overhauls and rebuild or replace major components when required.
• Read and interpret mechanical diagrams, technical manuals, and blueprints.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and the work area in a clean and organized condition.
• Assist with training junior mechanics when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with QHSE, ISO, and ISAGO standards.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Valid driver’s license.
• Certified Automotive or Heavy-Duty/Commercial Mechanic.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals, safety rules, and maintenance instructions.
• Good basic mathematical skills.
• Flexible to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
